During this visit, Mohsen Nachih, the Secretary General of the Federation of Agricultural Food Industries Organizations of Iran, while presenting a report on bulk and semi-bulky bread production units in the country, said: According to FAO statistics, unfortunately, in our country, there is 35% of waste in the table sector, and most of this The figure is related to bread.
He further added: Fortunately, due to the observance of the technical issues of the world and the valuable experiences of the producers in this field, the waste of industrial breads is very small and the shelf life of these breads is longer and they are considered healthier. In addition, industrial breads are produced with indirect heat and are far from the dangers of diseases, especially cancer.
While appreciating the support provided by Dr. Khayam Nekoui and Dr. Dehghan Sanich to the Minister of Jihad and Agriculture, Nechi said: Considering the importance of bread, if we are ordered to be supported in terms of space and location, we will definitely reduce the amount of bread waste.

The Secretary General of the Federation of Agricultural Food Industry Organizations of Iran, referring to the creation of the Scientific and Technical Commission of the Federation and the University, said: “We will soon provide the media with valuable scientific material in the field of community health, and in the near future, we will provide health-oriented breads from Alborz province as a pilot.” In order to reduce waste and increase quality and production, we will supply the market with a mix of whole wheat flour and whole barley flour.
